+ landscape architecture : stewardship by designAs a landscape architect, I'm constantly charged with and challenged to influence and affect the exterior spaces in which we all live, work and play in order to create quality of life moments that everyone can capture and relate to. It is this type of responsibility that I take very seriously. I pride myself on respecting these responsibilities with every design that I craft. Having the abilities to create outdoor spaces for all of us to experience and enjoy is a gift; I strive to use that gift appropriately, in order to serve others.I like to think of my design style as a contemporary and modern sensibility, whereby general geometries and materials are used in very creative and specific ways. I'd like to think that it's the style that makes us as designers look well past the steel and glass boxes that we all lock ourselves into; in order to ponder life, love and just how much stuff we can acquire. I want to influence us all to move outside and breathe. + artwork : "moment in time" connectionsPersonal expression and emotional connection drive the crafting of my comtemporary, abstract art pieces. Staying true to my values and sharing a moment in time with the end user provide a level of satisfaction in me that I can't find anywhere else. The ability to create something unique that will emotionally connect with another person is a very special feeling.I like to describe my pieces and my style as having a bit of whimsy and a sense of humor, yet providing a direct kick in the gut from God himself. It reflects both the terrors and joys of life that we collectively feel; all of us, at once.My hand-crafted pieces are acrylic and latex on canvas and range in size from 18" x 24" to 36" x 48" and larger. I'm always willing to push the envelope with respect to size and materials.My digitally generated pieces range in size from 8.5" x 11" to 12" x 18" and are printed with high-quality inks on semi-gloss photo papers. I also have the ability to matte and frame selected pieces.Please browse through the photos that illustrate examples of previously produced pieces and enjoy one of those "moments in time". I'm always looking to commission new pieces, therefore, please don't hesitate to contact me in order to discuss a commission further.

Art IS Design.+ biography :Mr. Jennings is a Christian and openly advocates the presence of Christ in all of our daily lives and activities; for it is in Him that we are saved and given strength.Mr. Jennings was educated at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana where he received a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree in 1998. He is registered in the State of Indiana and has 12 years of professional practice experience. Along with being a licensed Landscape Architect, he is a LEED Acredited Professional and has extreme interest in the ever-important realm of sustainable design. In the past 12 years, he has acquired an extensive level of experience that covers the full spectrum of Landscape Architectural design. His professional pursuits have allowed him to practice Landscape Architecture in Florida, Missouri and Indiana.Mr. Jennings is also a very passionate artist, currently creating contemporaty works of modern, abstract art in both hand-painted and digitally constructed forms. He is quite interested in how works of art can effect and connect individuals to one another and is currently furthering his efforts to do this on a more personal and professional level.
